The past few summers, my friend April has been hosting a Messy Party. What is a "Messy Party", you ask? Basically, you put the kids into clothes you don't mind getting wet or painted or dyed and you let them run loose.
The past few summers, my friend April has been hosting a Messy Party. What is a "Messy Party", you ask? Basically, you put the kids into clothes you don't mind getting wet or painted or dyed and you let them run loose. This year featured painting with washable glitter paint:

After 8 hours of soaking and then a quick wash and dry, Piper's creation turned out like this:
Just two days later, we went to a birthday/christening party for our friends Max & Margaret. I didn't get many pictures at this one, but I got a shot of the fabulous cake made by a bakery in Jeffersonville, called Adrienne's.
There were actually two cakes. You can catch a glimpse of the other one in this picture, which also showcases my daughter drooling over them. I think she was stating that she wanted a piece of this one. And of that one...
The kids also had fun in the water and on the playground.
