I want to learn how to quilt. I recently got my MIL's quilting capable sewing machine and am learning to use it. Wow is it nice. I was looking through her stuff last time I was in Springfield, and got several quilting books and fabric she had purchased to quilt, and lots of cutting materials, etc. She made Asher a quilt when he was a baby, but by the time we found out we were having Rachel she was well into chemo and not up to making a quilt for her. I would love to be able to make a quilt for Rachel out of the stuff she had planned to use. Anyone know much about quilting that could help me piece something together?

We were walking around downtown this morning waiting for Toast to have a table for us. I stopped in Baer's and picked up a class schedule. I know nothing about it but I bet they could help you out if you don't find any quilters here.
