Oh darn I just read this thread in it's entirety and realized that we missed play-dough making this morning! Are you planning to meet again next week? If so, I'll write it in my calender so I don't forget...

I know I'm also a little late in supplying some indoor craft ideas, but I too make slime with the kids I work with over the summer.  I always use 1 part glue to 1 part liquid starch (found in the detergent aisle) and food coloring. I also make ice cream with the kids, using ziplock bags.  It's super easy because you just need ice, milk, vanilla, sugar, and rock salt...the hardest part is that your hands become super cold but gloves can remedy that.  Granted, I know that it's just as easy to buy some ice cream but I always tell the kids that their hard work (shaking the ziplock bag for 5 min.) will always have wonderful results (yummy ice cream).  The recipe I use is http://crafts.kaboose.com/ice-cream...-bag.html.  Another thing that we do is make "kiddie chow."  It's not at all healthy but there's a lot of steps that a little one can do independently.  http://www.chex.com/recipes/RecipeV...goryId=342

Amy, I've been wanting to do the ice cream thing for a long time now. I think that would be a fun thing to do on one of our Tuesday outings if we can arrange it.

When you're doing it with a big group, I read somewhere that it helps if you put several ice cream ziplock things into a big pillowcase and let more than one kid shake it at a time.
