Anyone else kind of freaking out about this? My daughter isn't even kindy aged yet, but I'm already concerned. I'm not even sure if we'll opt to send her to public school, but I'd like to know we have a reasonable option.

I've been following a bit via the CJ even though we're not planning on public school.  It seems pretty crazy to me.  We're in cluster 5 which, anecdotally at least, seems to be more heavily affected as far as people not getting any of their top choices.  I'm wondering what will be the end result after all the transfer requests, etc are dealt with-will the process smooth out for next year and beyond, or is it just going to be this crazy from here on out?

I think it's going to get worse before it gets better. They haven't even started the process for the middle and high school students yet. That won't come until... 2010/2011 school year?

I'm not sure what we'll do yet. Ultimately it depends on what we can afford.
