Yeah, I guess I can try. She hasn't been sleeping well because she's been sick though. Dh just went upstairs to take a nap. He's getting it, too, but he's nauseous as well. Boo, hiss. I'd rather just have a fever than icky barfy feeling.

Isn't that annoying?  We both got it in Oregon, too.  Hate to tell ya, but mine lasted almost a week.

Ugh. Piper was up until midnight last night. Then she woke up at 8:00am.

*sigh* I just looked at my drug screen paperwork for this new job. Apparently I can't have a fever over 100 if I want to take the test. I'm going to dose myself up with some advil and hope for the best. I want to get this out of the way.

Sorry. More whining. ;) Thanks for asking.

What ended up happening?  Were you well enough to pee in a cup?

Long, horrible story. I peed in a cup. THREE times.

The first time I came within a hair's breadth of making the 30ml line. She THREW IT ALL AWAY! She said you can't combine samples. So she had me drink two small cups of water and wait. I tried again. Exact same thing happened again.

You can't leave once the test starts. You have to be able to hit the 30ml mark by 3 hours or it's marked as a refusal. I started guzzling water. After 2 hours and 40 minutes of sitting in this little tiny office, I was able to give them what they needed.

I hadn't even taken a diaper bag in because I was expecting it to take about 5 minutes. Piper was good as gold, thank goodness. A friend told me it might end up being too diluted. The contracting firm rep said if I'd just let him know what was going on, he'd have been happy to let me go back the next day. I had no idea. I've never done this before. I even asked them to please take blood or hair instead but they said the company's account wasn't set up that way.

I haven't heard yet. It was supposed to take 72 hours. I guess I should hear soon. I'm taking the stance that no news is good news.
