Ok, so here's goes. I'd love it if lots of people would join in and we could swap some meal ideas. :) We're omnivores, who mostly do poultry or veg. stuff. This is what we're doing this week: Monday: mini honey-mustard turkey meatloaves with baked fries and some kind of vegetable side (probably roasted cauliflower) (From Martha Stewart, Everyday Food, I think it's available online) Tuesday: homemade pizza with pesto sauce (doing fresh mozzarella, tomato and fresh basil as toppings,) probably a salad to go with Wednesday: crockpot "turkey" tetrazzini-this is from the crockpot365, but I'm doing chicken and spinach penne, instead of turkey and linguine...going to wing it a little bit Thursday: Asian mango noodle salad (from vegetarian times online) Friday: chicken saag, from Cookie online, with brown rice What's everybody else cooking this week?

This time of the year I do a LOT of winging it. I have a general idea of what will come in our CSA share and they lend themselves well to "side dish" status.

Neither I nor my daughter eat meat, but my husband and the teenaged boys do. So last night we had chicken on the grill, green beans (from my own garden), sliced tomatoes (combo from csa and my garden), buttered boiled potatoes, and corn on the cob.

Today I already did 3 hours of canning so I'm tired and uninspired. I think it'll be BLTs and leftovers tonight. I make them using Morningstar veggie strips. We refer to it as "Fakin' bacon".

I'll add more later...

Last night I didn't feel very well and Dh was coming home super late. So. I ate cereal and a veggie burger. I gave Piper mac n' cheese. Shhh.

Today I still don't feel very well. (Wah. I'm a poor little baby. I really think it's just allergies, but it feels like a cold coming on. Okay. Pity party over.)  But I need to keep moving on the peaches we picked last Friday so I made two loaves of peach bread. They're in the oven right now. Yum. I can't wait.

For dinner, I think I'll make a simple fritatta, or even scrambled eggs, with sliced tomatoes.

Tomorrow night, I'm making pizza using a Summer Squash Pizza Crust. I hope that works well. :)

Feeling better? Hope so! Last night we did the modified crockpot chicken tetrazzini. It was awesome. Yesterday was the perfect day for it with the rain and all. DH pronounced it the best chicken tetrazzini ever. That's some pretty high praise for a crockpot meal!

I've been getting some from crockpot365.blogspot.com. Most of the ones I've used from there have been pretty good. In the last few weeks I've made her sweet potato chili, chicken adobo, and the tetrazzini-all went over pretty well with the fam. ;)
