How to stop using shampoo? I can make my own soap but the shampoo bars leave a film on my hair. Any suggestions? I hear the oiliness goes away if you just use water.

I used to use baking soda and vinegar most of the time, but this time of year I have to use shampoo. The oil gets way out of control. I don't have the link that I first read several years ago about going "no poo," but I bet if you google shampoo free, or no poo, or something like that you can find the process. You basically make a paste with water and baking soda and massage it throughout your scalp and hair, then rinse with apple cider vinegar every few times.
