I had no idea what it was before I read the boston globe article, but I do think it is becomming more of a problem with more people beginning to take environmental concerns seriously and marketing firms taking advantage. What do you think?

You know, Sommer, this doesn't surprise me. You really have to read labels and do your research about companies. I know we can't always do it, but I think buying local whenever possible is the best thing to do.

I first heard the term greenwashing when Clorox introduced their green works garbage. I mean, some of their products are bright green, for Pete's sake! And where is all that organic milk coming from anyway? Just a thought that I often have.
