This makes a great last minute holiday gift - or a nice dessert to take to a holiday party. I used white and milk chocolate barks from Kroger. I dipped half of each truffle in the white chocolate, let them chill in the fridge, then dipped the other half in milk chocolate. After much experimenting, I found it's better to do the white chocolate first otherwise the white chocolate tends to get muddied with the melting milk chocolate.

I've put some into cute little boxes that were part of a tower of cookies. I lined the boxes with waxed paper. They look very professional if I do say so myself. :)

Oreo Truffles

1 package Oreo cookies
12 oz cream cheese
1 pkg white chocolate or almond bark (or you could use chocolate bark)

Crush Oreos into fine crumbs. Melt cream cheese until very soft. Mix together the Oreo crumbs and cream cheese. Roll into small balls and refrigerate until firm (about one hour). Dip into melted chocolate or almond bark and refrigerate until set.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->
