RE: Toddler closet organization
I'm chiming in late on this, but we got a mesh laundry hamper thingy at Walgreens for something like 2.50.   It just pops up.  We got two, and we use one for those legging-type things, and the other for doll clothes.  It's wide enough that it's easy ...

RE: Spaghetti Squash
I like this recipe, which I read in a magazine last year.  If I get tired of it like that, I thought I'd use it in things I might otherwise use shredded cabbage in, like slaw or eggrolls.

RE: Help me cut the papertowel habit!!
I got rid of the handy paper towel holder in my kitchen and replaced it with a wire basket to hold rags.  I then bought some crazy amount (like maybe four?) of those great big cheap stacks of white washcloths, and I filled the basket with as many as ...

RE: bumGenius at Target
Wow!  I'm really excited to hear about Target carrying nice dipes.  I hope they sell well, so they are still carrying them in twenty years when I decide to have my next child.  I'd woudln't say that a baby is better of being bottlefed than hid away ...

RE: summer squash
Hmmmm...I can't think of any ways to hide it.  I'd just add it pureed or shredded to anything that involved other veggies or multiple ingredients.  We love squash, so I have a number of squash recipes, but they all involve blatantly eating squash!  ...

RE: Playground Drama--vent warning!
She obviously had some problem that wasn't you, but you had to deal with it anyway.  Lame!  I'm sure her kid is going to turn out just greeeaaaatttt...

RE: Will you please stop talking
I totally understand!  My DD narrates every single thing that happens all day.  Sometimes my ears are just ringing.  "Mama!  Big truck!  OOOOOOHHH...a CRANE!!  Men on da crane!  Mama is stopping.  We are getting out of da car?  [DD] is getting out o ...

Anyone part of the Grasshopper CSA?
I don't know if this belongs here or in "off-topic."  I can't identify the greens that came with my CSA box this week, and I didn't get a little sheet like usual to tell me what was in the box.  Does anyone get the Grasshopper CSA box, and can you t ...

RE: Piper's birth
Wow!  That's a great birth story.  I love that you accidently kept an ER nurse with you, by your incredible birthing strength!  LOL.   Birth stories always make me cry, so beautiful!

RE: please help me find a nighttime diaper
I would put DD in a pre-fold with a little newborn pre-fold inside, and snappi it on, and then put really inexpensive plastic pants over the top (in several sizes too big, since it had to go on over 2 pre-folds).  I used both Dappi brand plastic pan ...

decent deal on yogurt maker, if anyone's in the market
Amazon.com is offering $10 off Yogourmet products until June 30, if you enter the code YOGURT68 at checkout.  I just bought this kit for $39.95, and it ships free.  It's originally $79.99, and seems to be selling for $50 to 60ish on other sites that ...

speaking of knives...where to sharpen?
I really need to get my kitchen knives sharpened.  Where can I do that in Louisville, and how much should I expect to pay? Thanks!

RE: Knife Recommendations?
I have Henckels knives and like them, but if I were going to get knives again I'd probably read rating on invidual knives and buy them individually, since I don't really need all the ones in the set, and I'm not crazy about the big ugle knife block. ...
